Fu Cheng - Vila Real de Santo António

After almost 2 weeks of fish, my son finally broke and requested a chinese! This was the nearest to where we are staying so thought we would give it a try. It is slightly away from the main area of Vila Real and doesn't look much from the outside. Also the decor is pretty basic. However the food is pretty good, especially for the price. The buffet is €10.50 in an evening and €7.50 at lunch. There is plenty of choice. Particularly good were the beef in oyster sauce and the duck. Also there was a good range of puddings including an excellent chocolate mousse. There was also a large selectio of sushi. Definitely good value for money. Point to note: at the time of writing the location on the TripAdvisor app is wrong as it is further away from the river than it shows. Just keep walking with the river behind you and you will eventually find it.

The staff made us very welcome, the food was excellent and there was a good variety, the restaurant was clean and warm.
