Barca Dos Sabores

The man was cocky and unpleasant to my family and the restaurant doesn't even serve at the tables. I really don't recommend if you are a family traveling

Why the number one restaurant in town serves British junk food? We may as well stay at home, why having fish and chips in Portugal? Maybe it is culinary colonisation or cultural pollution, we were disappointed. Wandered in and found this restaurant takeaway for a quick dinner. We ordered grilled sea bass with boiled vege, steak eggs with rice and chips. Both dishes were delicious. Simple and solid very fulfilling. We paid only 17.50 for two mains and two drinks.

It's more of a take away than a restaurant, you order your food from the counter and you can sit in or order take away. I ordered the Grilled Peri Peri Chicken and it was well marinated, juicy and grilled to perfection. The take away containers are aluminium so it keeps the warmth in until you get home. It took approximately 25 minute's to get our order so we indulged in a few Finos (small draft beers). Besides the Grilled Chicken they have a huge selection of Typical Portugese dishes to choose from. So if you are tired of restaurant food while on your holiday and want to eat in, then the Barca dos Sabores is the way to go....
