Delicious Portuguese dishes, bacalhau (cod) with batatas aos murros smashed potatoes. Cosy, elegant, good costumes, good selection of dishes good prices excellent quality.

The waiter was charming and the food was excellent. A great place for the first time to taste Bacalhau. Nice atmosphere.

Excellent food and nice professional service. We had the sardine (pilchard? , shrimp risotto and the bacalhau with grated potato. Really tasty. Even though we only had the half portions, we ended up taking half of each portion to go. Recommended.

This is a place off the beaten path that locals go to. Just what we wanted. While they can cater to tourists like us, be aware that they do not speak much English. But they do have a menu in English and Google Translate app works great. The place is clean and pleasant. The friendly staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The food: We can't say enough. Fantastic comes to mind. We had the fish and the filet mignon steak. And large portions! And very reasonably priced. We highly recommend them and should we find ourselves back in Rio in the future, we will make it a point to come here again.
