An excellent restaurant in Vignacastrisi within easy walking distance from our hotel Palazzo Guglielmo. The restaurant overlooks well kept gardens which are lit beautifully in the evening. All our food choices were excellent and the service was very helpful.

Just returned from a wonderful dinner in the garden at this lovely restaurant in Vignacastrisi. A warm welcome, attentive service and imaginative, authentic dishes with a contemporary twist made for an evening to remember. We enjoyed a fabulous rose wine from Sava in the Salento, which completed a perfect evening. Our favourite dishes an incredible pasta orecchiette with sweet roasted tomatoes and anchovies with tasty fried breadcrumbs, mains of tagliata perfectly cooked with fresh grated Parmesan and rocket and the most amazing grilled polpo on a bed of creamed chickpeas (truly heavenly) the best cooked, most tender octopus I’ve ever eaten. Tiramisu to finish ...and lastly a mention for the lovely fresh bread and flavoursome local olive oil. This a MUST restaurant if you are near Vignacastrisi.
