Bidrage med feedbackThe best hummus in the city. also friendly staff. we have been fans of pita for twenty years!
I have stared after an appt on this strip and passed away from the perfect pita and decided to try it. there was really 't to see a menu when I tried to decide what to order, but there were signs with pictures that indicated what they had to offer. I went with a smoked turkey bacon on a wheat pita. the order came quite fast. When I came home and the oita wore away, I could immediately say it was really dry. so dry that the pita broke in my hand. it was so thin and dry, it was disappointing. the speck was tight and super hard. the turkey was not smoked in taste, as stated. I gave up and found something else to eat. it was a waste of money.
Today for lunch. a warm pita was a great tasty on a cold day. ingredients were fresh and delicious. Thank you!
This is barely food. The falafel is terrible. I’m not trying to offend just telling you to make good food.
Hands down the WORST falafel pita sandwich I've had! Perfect Pita couldn't be further from the truth. Not at all authentic. The flavorless falafel was super dry and crumbly. The sandwich felt incomplete and surprisingly doesn't come with feta cheese or any hummus or tahini sauce, which isn't even available! After paying 2 upcharges of $0.59 for a scant portion of the original and roasted red pepper hummus to be slapped on my sandwich, I could barely taste them. The sandwich was super dry and left much to be desired. The dense wheat pita didn't have the fluffiness that I was hoping for. The complementary chunky tzatziki sauce that came on the side was so thick that I couldn't easily drizzle it on and didn't taste fresh. Too bad I didn't receive any utensils as a knife would have come in handy to spread the tzatziki sauce. Ended up using my fingers. ugghh! Not even all the tzatziki sauce could save the sandwich! To make matter worse, when I sat down outside at one of the tables in front of the restaurant, there was a large spiderweb. It looked like table hadn't been touched in a while. The falafel sandwich is a far outcry from the Perfect Pita. Total let down for $9. I've had Perfect Pita on and off over the past decade since college and rooting for them. Maybe given them another chance? I'm finally throwing in the towel. With so many great sandwich options in the area with Potbelly's, Pike 7 Plaza, and the Boro don't waste your appetite here.
