Chef's Family &kitchen - Vidin

We have just eaten to this restaurant, the food was great, greek salad, fried danube’s fish, fried calamari and american pancakes.

We found this restaurant while being on a walk through Vidin and are so happy we did that we even returned the next day. The food is delicious! You may be surprised by the prices first, as they're a bit higher, but they're totally worth it. Basically everything here is home made (the pasta, the bread etc. and the portions are big. On a colder day, I would also recommend to order a tea they will make it with fresh herbs from their garden.

Their Saganaki cheese is melting in the mouth! Also the pizza is verry good!

The place does not really work: innocently poor service, mediocre yet pretentious food, quite a bill for nothing at the end of the day.

Cheerful girls at service, but that's about it. The kitchen is slow, portion sizes get smaller and smaller throughout the past few years. Recommend trying their pizzas.
