Bidrage med feedbackI only had a very light meal in the Hunters Club, but I was staying in the hotel (Huntingdon Manor) so it was very handy. Service was good and what I had was very tasty. Next time we are in Victoria, I would definitely try a larger meal in the Hunter's Club.
Food , view, menú, at Noon and night Full all the time, better take a reservation Hard to find you can confuse with other restaurant They don't have to many indication to get there
To start we were the only people there. The food was excellent and the staff was really upbeat. I would eat there again just for the quietness and food and staff.
My family and I had a delightful visit to Victoria, the highlight being high tea at the amazing Pendray Inn and restaurant. The crab bisque was my favorite, but the scones were top notch, along with every delicious morsel. Our waiter Carlos was wonderful and took time to chat with us all. Sunny weather made it especially nice to spend time in the charming garden with pond and topiary.
We wanted to go to high tea, noticed only three couples on the porch of this place. Hostess said we did not have reservations and they could not take us. I asked if we could come back later, say 4 p.m. and she said there was not enough staff. Since we were staying at adjoining hotel, we walked back past Pendray at 4 and saw ONE couple on the porch. I think she was just trying to go home early. However, we went back the next morning, made reservation with nicer host for early afternoon, and it was fine. I would make it a point to look at the menu posted on the street--it has options that the one given to you there does not have. Example--I had seen a smaller, $14 dollar tea package on the street menu and it was not offered, but when I asked, the gave it to me. (My wife went all out on more expensive option).Food was good. Tea was delicious.
