The Penny Farthing Olde English Pub

The venue was laid out like a traditional English pub. The food was served timely but it took ages to get a menu

The live performance was too loud, making it difficult for us to have a conversation.

Whenever we visit Victoria, we always make it a priority to have lunch at Penny Farthing Pub in Oak Bay. The food, service, atmosphere, value, and overall dining experience are all exceptional. We highly recommend it to others.

The food at this restaurant was excellent. We enjoyed a delicious charcuterie board presented on a unique wooden platter that resembled a tree cross section. The only downside was that the drinks took quite a while to arrive. We were a group of 20 people seated in the back room of the pub, which was what we had anticipated. Overall, it's a nice place, but the service for drinks could use some improvement.

Had the dine around experience and it was great. Good choices, proportions (couldn't eat desert so took them home Favorites here are best chicken pot pie, notable Mac Cheese and wonderful staff ESP Grace.
