The Monkey Tree Pub - Victoria

This place is fantastic. It's a typical neighborhood pub, but what sets it apart is the amazing service. The staff is not only warm and friendly, but they're also experts at what they do; you never have to wait long for a drink even when it's packed. With the cozy atmosphere, cold beer, and lively music bingo, it's got everything you could want in a pub.

Good atmosphere, good food and friendly staff. Happy hour ok, not a lot of items to choose from. Only complaint was nachos were very over priced, they were the most expensive thing on the menu at $26...ridiculous!

We recently organized a celebration of life for a friend at the Monkey Tree Pub. We chose this venue because of its convenient location and updated menu. The manager, Darren, was incredibly helpful in accommodating our group at short notice and even created a special menu featuring photos of our friend. Our server, Emily, and the rest of the staff were attentive and courteous. The chicken wings were delicious and the homemade chicken strips were exceptional. The drinks were well-prepared and the bartenders were professional. Darren was present throughout the event to ensure everything ran smoothly. I highly recommend the Monkey Tree Pub to both locals and visitors for its great food, service, and atmosphere. A big thank you to Darren, Emily, and the rest of the staff for providing us with a memorable evening that we will cherish for years to come.

$57 for lunch, and the two people fully knowing portion should have been good but I anticipated him not being very large that's how it is these days sometimes. Chicken tenders with fries you basically get 5 of them (equivalent of one chicken breast) $17.Tiny portion. Beef brisket sandwich, pretty good they forgot the jus for the side. Burger of the day, tasty. Overall, frieswere average food was good, people are fine on the phone but portions were super small. It's take out but yes, not generous forwhat you pay.

This pub in Victoria is definitely one of the best. Even though they were quite busy, we still received our drinks quickly and the service was excellent. My friends and I will definitely be returning.
