I love hitting the tartan toque with friends for some wings and a pint. The wings are some of the best in town. And they have board games at all the tables so you'll always have something to keep you entertained. Great spot!

This is a cool little restaurant out of the busy downtown area with stall parking outside. They serve mostly wings and burgers, as well as chili fries and poutine. They have several flavours/toppings you can choose (more than most pubs) and all are tasty! You also have your choice of bone-in wings, boneless all-white meat, or tofu. We usually order the boneless wings and my son orders the tofu choices. The portions are decent and the prices are good too ($5.95 for a half order of boneless wings). My favorites are the honey garlic, peanut satay, and the cajun dry options, but all the flavours are good. They also serve alcohol including several local, micro-brewed beers. The serve milkshakes and you can even get a boozed up version if you desire. The chocolate shake was quite tasty and chocolatey but the portion was small as the shakes are served in parfait glasses which don't hold much due to their shape. There are booths as well as tables for seating and you can even play a board game while you are waiting. You order your food at the counter and pay for it then; they either call your name and/or bring it out to your table. The service is great and quite friendly. I love eating here because it is out of the downtown area so not quite as busy and parking is better. I love wings and it is a place where my vegan and vegetarian son and girlfriend can eat too! This was a pleasant find!

This place has a good variety of chicken wings. We had hot ones & ones coated in lemon pepper. Hard to decide which was better. Both orders came to us crispy on the outside and very tender on the inside. They truly get how to make wings! I also tried the cheeseburger (a fast food joint isn't worth its' salt if they can't make a decent burger). It was also great - thick & juicy and very tasty. The only thing I would change is the bun, which was just bland & ordinary. Kaiser, perhaps?

Nice cozy atmosphere with friendly, knowledgable staff. However, while attempting to be a fancy burger place, they seem to have missed the mark. Bothe the in houce made Veggie burger and the beef burgers were good but nothing special to write home about.
