PIE Co - Victoria

Grabbed small chicken pot pie at Parachute location in Langford that offers Victoria Pie. Never had it before and was very excited based on what I heard. Unfortunately the pie was bland, with almost no chicken, my partner had couple pieces, I had none. The potatoes in the pie weren’t salted. Disappointing experience to say the least. Hopes were hush, not sure if I’ll try another one. Pic is of pie after we scoured for chicken.

Delicious.... Loved our strawberry rhubarb and blueberry pies. We will be back. Excellent service too!

Our first visit with Victoria pie was a good one. The staff was very helpful and pleasant and the strawberry rhubarb pie was delicious. I plan on going back to arrange to take some frozen pies home with us. Nothing like this at home.

I probably shouldn 't be submitting a review because I did not buy any pie. But I wanted to. I was there on Monday, July 17th, just at noon. This was my first trip ever to the Hudson Market, and I had a list of things to try. I was looking at the small display case at the front of the shop and the shelves were empty of fruit pies except for two blackberry apple pies. I am a home baker, and I have worked in restaurant kitchens. I know a little about fruit pies. The two pies on offer looked a wee bit old and tired to me, so I asked the staffer if the pies were baked that day. The answer? Recently baked, sir . Baked today? I asked. Again, Recently baked, sir . I declined to buy the rather high-priced day old baking, and left without making a purchase. Disappointing if you believe the shop 's blurb online.

The pie (apple cinnamon) was really good, not too sweet and well balanced. I can recommend everyone to try it.
