At Bangkok - Victoria

I don't typically write reviews, but I had to share my experience with this Thai restaurant. It was the worst Thai food I've ever had. We decided to support a local restaurant and ordered through DoorDash. After just a few bites, I had to stop because it was so bad. The noodles had no flavor, the sweetness was off, and it was inedible. There are much better Thai restaurants in Victoria that deserve support. Avoid this place at all costs.

This restaurant is not only delicious, but also inexpensive with a selection of local beers and wines. The wait staff is beautiful and friendly, making it a definite must-visit.

This review is quite specific as I ordered takeout and did not experience the service or atmosphere of the restaurant. I appreciate the restaurant's online ordering system, which made it quick and easy to choose what I wanted. I ordered the Baek Pila Thai with extra spice and was happy with my choice. The dish had a slightly different flavor compared to pad thai from other places, but it wasn't necessarily a bad thing, just unique. I still enjoyed it and would be open to trying more dishes from this restaurant. The flavors were a little less vibrant, but overall, I liked it and would not hesitate to return.

If they eat the taste of delicious real Thai food, we might come here. they will enjoy the various famous Thai food including papaya salad, tom kah( or duck curry.pls choose it) and so on. the environment is beautiful and friendly. it is small and... beautiful

My husband and I were visiting Victoria and love Thai food. He googled the best Thai restaurants in Victoria and this came up as one of the top and the reviews were good. We love Thai and try to enjoy new places every where we...go. I'm not sure why the reviews on this restaurant are good??!! I ordered the red curry chicken and my husband ordered the chicken panang. Both our dishes had NO veggies at all. Mine had a few bamboo shoots but that was it (all it had was chicken and broth)! There was hardly any flavour to each of these dishes. I asked for my spice to be medium and you could barely tell it had any extra spice. We were both very disappointed that we didn't even finish our meals. Horrible! I will never go back and I think everyone who said this was a great place has never had GOOD THAI FOOD or something terribly wrong has happened to this place!
