Johno's Pizza Restaurant

We ordered a ham and pineapple and ate most of it in the one sitting. Everything was fresh and the service was quick and friendly.

Ah, Johno. 'Authentic' is the way I'd describe the feel of the shop (!) described by other reviewers as 'filthy'.I liked the seafood pizza enough last Jan holidays to buy another one this year. Yes 'Johno' was blunt to the point of rude both times I've been. Customer service is indeed, as described by one other reviewer 'second to none' - there was none and it still came second - but it was so over the top I found it comical rather than offensive. Worth a go (once at least) for the entertainment but cant say pizzas are cheap. Meet Johno's withering gaze, when he sees you walk in and dare to order, straight in the eyes. Hard to rate. If I use 3 stars for pizza and 2 for experience, I give 3 for pizza and 2 for amusement (5 stars), minus 2 for shocking customer relations.Pretty clear he's been making pizzas about 30 years too long for his joviality but made two good ones for me. Hope you can rediscover your passion Johno, pizzas or otherwise.

This restaurant mainly attracts tourists who typically only dine here once. The food quality is lacking, especially their spam pizzas, and the prices are high.

After spending a long evening drinking with my colleagues, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my friend Johno's Pizzeria was open for business. Johno has a strict policy against rude customers, which I appreciate. His customer service is excellent. Despite being ranked at 34 out of 34 establishments in Victor, I believe Johno's Pizzeria is far superior to other options in the area. His unique locked door policy may be confusing, but it made me feel safe and valued as a customer. I highly recommend Johno's Pizzeria to anyone looking for a late-night dining option in a town with limited choices.

We arrived in Victor Harbour late in the evening and found this to be one of the only places open. Upon entering the restaurant, I almost left immediately. It was dirty and very unwelcoming. The man serving us was the rudest person I have ever encountered, and he made us feel like we were bothering him. Despite this, we still ordered a somewhat expensive pizza and garlic bread. However, as we watched him prepare our food, we noticed that he never washed his hands and all the ingredients were frozen with no care taken in the preparation. After trying the tasteless pizza, we regretted not just eating the box it came in. The garlic bread was inedible and seemed like it had been in the freezer for years. We ended up throwing the rest of the food in the trash where it belonged. We will never be visiting this rude and unpleasant man again.
