Billy's Italian - Vicksburg

I always get pizza here if I am in town. If you don't want to go to downtown and eat then this is probably the best choice outside of the city. Good ingredients and good dough. I do wish they put more toppings on my orders. Service no problem.

Very good pizza sandwiches. I ordered the small pizza with three toppings loved it especially the crust. My mom had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and consumed the entire large sandwich. Service was good with a well timed team work among the staff. The dining room felt clean and tidy. The decor is very simple yet appropriate. There is a separate private room sectioned off with a sliding bard door. Located in the deep corner of an older shopping center that is 50% full of retailers perhaps going through another lifecycle. This is not a drive by location but a destination space known to the locals folks discovering it via web searches. BTW it's sits next door to an ice cream and candy store!

I'll be honest I was lucky to find this place because this city has a bunch of franchise restaurants. I am glad I was able to find this particular place which was within walking distance of my hotel the La Quinta inn Suites. I ended up ordering the pasta sampler which is manicotti, spaghetti and 1 meatball. Also came with a roll and small side salad for $20.90 not including the tip. The best thing about the sampler is you do have a variety the worst thing is you really don't get much food. The one thing I have to say is at least it tasted fairly decent. The spaghetti and meatball from the sampler was actually really good. The other two items were okay.

Ordered a medium Calzone for delivery. It was really good. Lots of toppings/fillings and they tasted great. The low delivery fee and the time it took to revive my order was also a plus.

This is a great place to eat after a trip to the Vicksburg Military Park, or if your from here and looking to go out to eat at a casual restaurant. The pizza is really good, and I love the onion rings! The onion rings are sooo good! The bread is very good too, good and crunchy! The service is great! I love how this restaurant connects with The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory! It's really good too. If your a visitor in Vicksburg this is one of the places to go eat!
