Sa Playa - VIAREGGIO

We are dinner here twice in a 5 day stay in Viareggio, it looked packed with locals hence why we stopped. 2 amazing meals, a fairly simple menu typical of the area but the service, atmosphere and quality were excellent on our 2nd visit, we had to wait 15 minutes for a table. Reasonably priced and generous portions dinner for 2 was €49 (1st visit) €62 (2nd visit). The best Vongole I’ve ever had.

Delicious meal with great portion sizes at Sa Playa. For entrees we enjoyed a generous serve of bruschetta and the fritto misto seafood was really nice and crunchy. Then for mains we had the scampi gnocchi in a tomato based sauce and the seafood risotto which were both very enjoyable. Staff were friendly and prices were very reasonable, would definitely go back to try their other dishes as pizza looked great too!

We got starters very good but really delicious was the spaghetti con vongole . Even the dessert has been very good. We will back!

In un caldo sabato di ottobre decidiamo di pranzare al Sa Playa dopo anni che veniamo a Viareggio non c’eravamo ancora mai stati). Dopo un’attesa di minuti era pienissimo) riusciamo ad avere un tavolo fuori. Tutto molto buono e abbondante, prezzi giusti e un plauso al caffè davvero buono (cosa non scontata in un ristorante). Pranzo davvero piacevolissimo sulla Passeggiata. Lo consiglio
