Auberge de Veyrac

A nice clean welcome Auberge, lunch is particularly good value at around 16.00 Euro for 3 courses, I had the Cesar Salat Starter, confit Huhn. And great dessert.

Good atmosphere. First visit and had always thought that you would feel “right on the roadside/circular traffic”, but not at all. Sat on terrace and with wall / umbrellas / plants etc., we were quite oblivious. Was a busy lunch so service a little rushed (and slowly towards the end with a young child an hour and a half in) but meal was very pleasant. Had 2 years old with us used for food and French restaurants. Asked for some smaller cutlery for our daughter and was made with unsafe/blind look by young servers so said it was not as important as she could manage, but the cheese cutlery later brought into the meal would have been a perfect alternative for her. A few smaller points, but would be happy to revise. Thank you.

Very busy, you don't know why! The expectation of good things from this restaurant was unfortunately disappointing. Service was good. Food came pretty fast, but that's probably because it boiled under. The plate was not appealing, only the meat completely in a sauce, a Gratin potato and soufflé from what would have cauliflower, but was all Bland. It wasn't a good experience. Overpriced and wouldn't go back.
