Metro Diner - Vestavia Hills

This place was excellent! I got her French toast with strawberries and bananas with one side of her cheeses and every bite was excellent. My girlfriend got a southwest omelet with cheese and bacon and she was also absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere is fun and the staff is very friendly. Very recommended if you are in the area and wish a wonderful culinary experience.

The experience was very pleasant. The staff was so friendly and nice. The food was more than we expected, we were there for breakfast. They serve you so much food and a great value. I had an omelette that was so fluffy and it melts in your mouth. My friend had the French croissant a crossover of French toast. Never thought of using a croissant. The service was great. We'll be back for lunch and dinner.

Great service and food! I ate here alone and got the same care and attention as everyone around me. Many comfort food on the menu perfect for the season with a good mix of new products to try. The braided beef tips were recommended to me by the waitress and not disappointed! The Broccoli was not too soft, which is so important to me, lol. The hot chocolate was “made with love” and perfect to warm up me and satiate my sweet tooth on this cool night. Five stars from a local!

We've been here a few times. The Cheesy-Tarts, the Monte Cristo Sandwich, Burger and the Breakfast were great. My husband got the chicken dinner and was not 100% happy, but the manager was so courteous! They are incredibly friendly and their service is unsurpassed!

Great location and great food! Located in a convenient shopping strip on Hwy 31. Serves breakfast all day! Eggs Bendict, Chicken and waffles, and Meatloaf loaf plate are great choices! You won't be disappointed.
