Bidrage med feedbackBy far the best macarons in town. I did a macaron tour in DC recently and none compared there either. I rate their macarons in my top 3. The other two are in Paris. They also did a beautiful, custom tower for my wedding! The bon bons are delicious as well. That one star review I suspect is fake or personal.
I made a mistake thinking that the astronomical prices would be justified with a delicious, visually and flawlessly presented product. I was burned on both assumptions. I spontaneously bought an assorted box based on the merchant’s choice. I won’t go into detail about the how terrible it all tasted, but I thought it would at least be perfect and beautiful in presentation. It was sloppy, reckless, inconsistent visually. Some items were missing corner, some had bubbles, others looked like they were poured in dirty molds. It was awful! So I tasted them. All I tasted was grocery-store-off-brand dark chocolate, some with a useless wafer, and one had a bit of caramel. I’m livid about the price. I’m very livid about the product.
My husband and I came across this place to satisfy a random hankering for something sweet and we stumbled upon a gem! The Gelato is fantastic!! Very smooth. Prices are fair as well
Very cute shop. Very good macarons. Small, but good. Very expensive macarons! Very good cookies, and quite cheap.
Run, do not walk. Hands down the BEST macarons you will find, likely in the whole state of Alabama, maybe in the south as a whole. These are on the same level of the most high end French pastry I've had in NYC. The pastry chef is French and a classically trained pastry chef and chocolatier, and it shows. Flavors are very obviously made from scratch, not extracts. Texture is spot on and the macarons melt in your mouth. Each one is perfectly presented. Customer service was lovely and the shop was beautiful and clean. I plan on making many more excuses to indulge in these luscious macarons. All 8 flavors I selected were delicious and unique.
