Bidrage med feedbackVery nice place with good food and low prices, perfectly polite waiters. My Fav place.
My wife and I joined Weine Wolf thinking of making a stop in a bar and warming up a bit, and instead... We found ourselves in a place in perfect balance between elegant and rustic, finely furnished and decorated for Christmas, with a beautiful view on Castelvecchio. A beautiful Christmas tree fills the corner close to the bioethanol fireplace that makes its part in the atmosphere, as my wife could explain. All right, but the rest? Well, the friendly staff and the overwhelming although discreet South Tyrolean atmosphere have made us feel at home (we love and know South Tyrol for many years. A cappuccino and spicy hot apple juice have refreshed us before continuing. But what from the beginning seemed only a nice bar was much more than we thought. Tonight we came back for dinner, and it was a brilliant idea. My wife managed to occupy the table closer to the fireplace and, after a 'honest wait the right one of those who cook you at the moment the order our dishes arrived. My entrecote with the coasts was tender and tasty, and the bread basket proposed a good choice of types of South Tyrolean bread, including the Schüttelbrot of which I am guiotto, with a glass of Lagrein of the house in the most true sense of the expression, since it is that produced by Weine Wolf to Caldaro. A soft and aromatic wine that perfectly accompanied my dinner. Did my wife get some fresh noodles (made in the house? with goose ragout, and you found them great. The ragù was also good for the view, and underlined that it did not contain trace of tomato. I'm sorry, but I often seem to drown the ingredients in the tomato that is tuna, cheek, olives, hare, wild boar, goose or whatever else getting the same result: tomato with something that is hard to identify. This goose tomato free ragout was a pleasant surprise, and my wife liked it until the last bite, holding off from making shoes with the last residues only in the fear that Csaba arrived quatta from behind and gave her a scappellotto; a dessert to the chestnut (fresh chestnut smell, according to my wife in shape, rightly, of chestnut I find too much dinner for mestra All the other desserts in the menu, moreover, have evaporated during the day thanks to the wave of tourists that in this bridge of the Immaculate of 2021 are taking on this beautiful city. So? Well, it looked like a nicer bar than the average, and it ended up revealing an intense, intimate, enveloping experience. I strongly recommend it!
Cozy place next to Castevecchio, wines and menu of good quality excellent sweets. Recommended!
Small town bar, very friendly and cosy. Set in the medieval centre of town, we enjoyed a couple of 'aperitivi ' outside among the locals and the sparrows.
Modern and comfortable location, very helpful and polite staff
