Bidrage med feedbackHad dinner tonight food was excellent from apps to dessert made even better by Erica who took excellent care of us. The seafood entrees and prime rib were great. The clam chowder wasn't, watery and not authentic flavor, skip it. The pistachio pie was great!
My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch. We sat at the bar. We understand patrons wanting to be friendly, especially sitting at the bar, but we had literally just sat down when the lady next to my wife starting barraging her with questions, Hi, how is your day? Have you been here before? What are you going to order? This dish is my favorite. Which are all innocuous enough but we had just sat down and been given menus. Then a fellow across the bar starts to try to engage us in conversation by shouting across the bar. Friendly is okay but this was too much. The bartender seemed VERY overwhelmed, was slow with service and forgetful. The gentleman next to me had to ask her to find out what was taking his food order so long. When we received our food, my wife's side dish was off it was broccoli but tasted like vinegar had been put on it. We asked for a replacement and that was never delivered. When we finally received our tab, the bartender was nice enough to reduce my wife's entree for the missing side, however she charged us for two extra beers. Once that was corrected we were on our way. The tuna bomb appetizer here is delicious, however, we won't be back due to the slow, inattentive and inaccurate service.
We had several brews each and I had the Louisiana Blacken Swordfish on black beans and rice special, it was excellent, Colonel Z and I split wings as an appetizer. Colonel Z had a sandwich, steak and cheese (I think) with dipping au jus. We ate out on the newly finished deck. All and all a great lunch between great friends. We will be back.
Overpriced food. The scallops were diced and rubbery. It was featured as 'fresh catch ', the menu never said Diced the server didn 't either. Served over boxed mashed potatoes with a watery sauce......$30. Get a Chef that can cook whole scallops properly make a decent sauce. Dirty utensils, the plastic drink cups and pitchers for water are stained brown. Probably why they keep the dining room so dark. Also not impressed with the muliple servers standing at the register beside our table, complaining to each other. Desserts looked good in the front case at the entrance, but the overall atmosphere didn 't warrant staying for dessert. Do not recommend
It is the worst restaurant we ever went. reheated food. Clam chowder cold and similar or worst than the one we can buy at the supermarket FOR 2 DOLLARS A CAN. They charged 10 dollars a portion. rehated angel hair and floded with an awful fat sauce. It was so spicy that I had to ask them if they have a Mexican cook in the kitchen. I think , that as I reurned it they just washed the pasta and flooded with this fatening yellow salsa. A good lesson . NEVER RECOMMEND IT. It is the WORST OF THE WORST We have visited here and overseas. I had to pay almost 200 for this mistake.
