Lake Charles Grill - Vernon Hills

Excellent fish dinner on Friday nights. I understand that this is occasional, depending on events. Our table had baked and baked both were very good. Service was also excellent friendly atmosphere.

Visited an afternoon wedding and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and beautifully portioned. The place was beautiful and had a large outdoor space for cocktails and appetizers overlooking the golf course.

We golf there once a week and it is a good course for all levels. But these reviews should be over the restaurant, not the course. I give the restaurant 4 stars as a place for lunch or an occasional sandwich. I wouldn't hold a formal event there, like a wedding, but an informal meeting, like a business lunch or social club meeting would be suitable. The menu is based on a grill type offer and the food served is very good and plentiful. Hamburger, cold turkey, chicken and tuna offers are all good and fresh. The drinks are plentiful and inexpensive.

Good hometown for Grub. Love the location, great place in town. Your food is good, absolutely classic.

My district meetings for Farmers Insurance are held here. The meals are fabulous. Would definitely recommend hosting meetings here.
