Pesce D'oro - VERCURAGO

We arrived at this Ristorant by indication from the street, was lunch time, no options we decided to eat there. When we arrived to the Ristorant an old men very cold and unpolite said had only one menu “RISOTO WITH LOCAL FISH”. We stay and the first plate arrived like a bread with some fish on top. Second the white rice with fried fish. Was disgusting very fried on oil or “burro” . NO MENU NO PRICE at end we paid for two 35e . No drinks only hot water . Very cold reception.

Very good family restaurant, managed by expert people. genuine cuisine, specialty from the sea and the lake. Homemade pasta and homemade dessert. Best Quality of ingredients.

A dud of a hotel. Pictures of the rooms do not include the small, sub-par rooms like the one we were given. At the back of the hotel. Very small, quite dark. Opens to inner courtyard that unfortunately is also used as ventilation for kitchen, and so it smelled quite badly of oil (which in balmy weather was no bueno). We were disappointed with the room we were given. Would seem that better rooms were reserved for a tour group traveling by bus. Would not stay again in future.

Very good food and outdoors serving. Specialises in fish, but serve anything else too. Could be a mosquito-trap, but none when we visited them.
