Lure Fish House - Ventura

This place was recommended to me as I was in town for a short time, the place was busy and the staff where sharp and attentive to the customers!! For me it is important that attention to detail is observed. Once my drink has been made a question to refill has been asked, the food was great, colorful combinations of taste added to the joy of eating here, talking to the staff it would seem to visit the afternoon is a relaxing time, as after 6pm the things ramp up and the dynamic changes, the best time to visit would be about 6pm, the things begin to change then and keep the atmosphere! If you in the city then I would definitely visit my hit list, you can really not go wrong with everything it has to offer, you will certainly not be disappointed, go with a crowed and stay all day inside or out of you? ll surely enjoy the entertaining atmosphere here!! The employees are wonderful and amazing people and despise your love!!?

I was satisfied that I chose this place famous for its restaurants. I had oysters as an appetizer, and it was so fresh and sweet. It was the best feeling while the chefs were busy to serve and explain the food. If there is a disappointment, it would have been better if the oysters and the sauce to be eaten were served together. would like to visit again.

When it comes to food, I can be ridiculously picky and angry. It's usually very hard for me to like everything I have ordered from a visit, because it's always something I don't like! That was not the case when I visited hot fishhouse!! Wow is what I would call here! Everything was sooooooooooo good! I can't describe it, you have to try it yourself. I write this place as MUST TRY IN VENTURA. It is so beautiful inside and outside, great service, many dishes and AMAZING FOOD! My fiancée was here before and decided to come back so I can try. You don't take reservations on the phone so you have to go there and do it. We're here, they've got some waiting for outside, but wait a little longer for inside. However, bar area is open when you decide to sit there while you wait for your table. That was the plan, but there was a sweet lady sitting at the bar she had reserved and was written to sit, but already sat at the bar and had her food so that she gave us her place. Thank you, Leslie. We sat down and our server came and asked for drinking order and gave some recommendations, the house specialties are good, but really everything is good. Started with some oysters, I'm not the biggest fan, but they were OUTSTANDING. They taste sooo good! Actually, they have sweet oysters bar, which is lovely. Got the house ceviche and asked for no onions so pick was on the side but it still has onions. I tried it, it was good, but I didn't intend to pick up any onion. Then we have the Clam Chowder!! The best I had except what I had in Seattle. I ordered the silly sand duck, my first time. It was sooooo good! I got it with squash and Brussel sprouts. It comes with some sauce. The server didn't recommend it, but I thought it was perfect! My fiancée has the sea bass, but I don't think it was introduced that well, he said his food was okay, I tried it and I felt it was good, but I enjoyed everything else! This place is definitely my favorite! I'll come back soon as I get back to Ventura!! Delicious is an understatement!! Try it! tried this place a few more times and never disappointed!!

This is a very beautiful place. Ravioli were delicious, the seafood was fresh. Big oysters, especially those from Fanny Bay, Zioppino was sharp, but very good. The waiter was friendly and attentive. The food was brought very fast. The atmosphere at this point is beautiful and relaxing. The furniture is comfortable. One of the best things is that we didn't have to wait, even though it was a Friday night when we came in.

Usually one of the best restaurants in Ventura or the top choice for me and always high quality food and fresh fish. Came here this recent evening for a birthday celebration and although other plates we ordered were super great, the seared ahi plate was inedible and not fresh. Very chewy like bubble gum. So this meal was wasted and what I ordered. We were really happy with everything else even though we ate at the bar because they do not take reservations. Service is friendly even though very busy.
