Allison's Country Cafe - Ventura

I would really recommend the food here. It is a wonderful restaurant with great service and homemade dishes. The preserves that are made there are delicious and worth buying a jar. When we were moving from CA, this was one place we had to go to before we left.

Love this place.....every time I come down from Fresno to visit my daughter in Hollywood, we make the trip to come and eat breakfast here.....we order the same every time.....we each get our own waffle (they are the best we have ever had), an order of biscuits and gravy (also the best we have had), and an order of your delicious hash browns, always cooked crispy on the outside and tender inside and let's not forget the cinnamon rolls....I have never had better cinnamon rolls! If I lived in Ventura I would be here very morning....

Allison's has been consistant since 1984 when I first enjoyed breakfast there, to now when I come back to Ventura to visit friends and enjoy my favorite place. Awesome job Allison's!!

First time eating here. I didn't even know it existed, my brother, nephew and son had breakfast here this morning. We waited a long time to be seated as the restaurant was packed, but I will say the food was worth the wait! My son and nephew ordered the Hangover and loved it! The service was excellent and I even received a jar of the delicious homemade raspberry jam as a gift! I will definitely become a regular! HIGHLY recommend! Delicious!!!

I never take the time to write reviews, but this place is quite simply the best food I have had, and the most friendly of waitresses, a place that well deserves another 5* rating!
