The Crab Lobster - Ventnor

This pub was conveniently located near our holiday cottage, so we were able to visit a few times. While it may appear small from the outside, once inside, it opens up into a spacious pub. The staff and customers were incredibly friendly, and the pub was very welcoming to dogs. It was always bustling with activity whenever we visited. Overall, it's a great traditional pub with a lively atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

This charming pub has a fantastic owner, a welcoming atmosphere, and delicious food. It holds the oldest license on the island and was named the pub of the year in 2023, making it a must-visit.

Atmospheric Pub where we had a traditional Sunday lunch of very good quality and reasonably priced. Warm, friendly efficient service. It’s maybe not a ‘special occasion’ venue but, based on our experience of some of the other local establishments, it was the best food service (and that included a ‘special occasion’ meal at The Royal Hotel)!

First visit to this pub. Staff very friendly and had good atmosphere. Food was good and plentiful which I like! Would certainly visit again next time we are in ventnor
