Chanced upon Bar Serena strolling around Ventimiglia... a perfect lunch Mozarella and ham, mushroom and ricotta cannelloni and tiramisu. All were excellent light and delicious. And a rose wine and birras of course! Owner was friendly and helpful especially with our non existent Italian. Highly recommend. Jackie and Martin

This place is an amazing little spot. The owner is very generous and sweet. I stopped over on a quick trip for a few hours from Monaco and it is true Italy. I've travelled all over Italy and if you are here for a quick stop it will give you everything you want. The parmigiana was fantastic and will refresh your soul. The owner's friend was also there with some vegetables he brought out of his own garden to put on his pizza. If you want a slice of Italian life, you've found it here.
