Glamy Bistrot - VENEZIA

We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary here. Just the two of you, very romantic. First-class service, good advice, exquisite food. We'll be back in the summer and look forward to being able to sit on the wonderful terrace.

Glamy has just moved from their quaint little garden setting on Lido to a large restaurant on Lido overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Well, I think the sea was there! We had outdoor-ish seating on a terrace and couldn't see the Sea because they had large white curtains that blocked not only any view but also any breeze (and it's hot in Italy right now). The new setting is very Miami Beach, which isn't bad, but we're not in Miami Beach. The group that I was with have been several times, for the sushi, to the former location and we loved it. The new menu had a very limited sushi selection and only one non- fish option...a California type roll that was very good, but, it would have been nice to have something that didn't have salmon on it. That said, my friends said that their sushi (with fish) was very good. The staff was very friendly but we found that we had to flag them down to get their attention ...to order another bottle of water, wine, additional plates of sushi, etc. The restroom...in a place like this, could and should be monitored at least once an hour...such an easy thing to do. It was truly disgusting...urine on the floor and soggy toilet paper and paper towels on the floor... For just under 200 euros, I expect more and will not be rushing back any time in the future.

From entering the garden to exiting you will be enchanted in the the magical atmosphere of this marvelous garden thanks to Michela and Stella sisters and fourth generation of this family run business. The bistrot, though, is their baby. From the ‘amuse bouche ‘ your palate will thank you! Fresh fish, meat or vegetarian all presented like works of art and all very delicious. Meticulous preparation and presentation accompanied by the wonderful flavors that dance like a party in your mouth! Have been several times as I need this atmosphere which is cozy and with family and Friends have spent several very successful evenings here! Don’t miss it! A bucket list for sure!

Fish dinner in a relaxed fusion soul restaurant. good salmon cuisine in crust accompanied by seasonal vegetables jumped into the pan (only them a little too salty,) excellent and balanced in the flavors the tartare of salmon. relaxed but glamorous atmosphere.

Beautiful location out of chaos. delicious and well kept sushi and raw dishes.
