Bidrage med feedbackYou eat well, you spend the right and the staff is courteous. I enjoyed the spaghetti with malamocchina (which I did not know) and the mixed fried.
In front of the Lido Sme stop on the square. Nice premises and well presented dishes. Good spaghetti with clams and tuna tartar. Nice and nice staff that really offers a great service. We were two more times in the evening drinking cocktails. really beautiful Mohito. Prices in the average Lido of Venice and in line with the offer.
The food was wonderful and the staff even better. Everything we ordered was lovely. The wine they helped us choose was fantastic (didn’t pick the most expensive). We had a wonderful meal with a very friendly and attentive staff.
It was a first staying in Lido for us and we kept passing this restaurant and seeing delicious seafood. We finally stopped by one evening. The staff was friendly, and the location is nice near the water. We sat outside and had wine which was lovely but I do have to say it was our least favorite food we had in Venice (but the standards were high). We made a mistake that others have made and ordered fritti misti thinking it would be friend seafood when it was actually mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and chicken nuggets beware! That being said, we saw “assortment of fried things” or something of the sort and thought it would be the seafood we were after and should have asked beforehand. We also had a duck ragu and a clam pasta and they were fine nothing to write home about and we wouldn’t get either again. I think this place would be nice for relaxing drinks as we really did enjoy our wine.
Lets start with the positive things: 1 Point for the nice Staff and Service 1 Point for the nice Location. If you live near the Sea you dont have to Walk that long to get there. -1 Point for the Mosqitos inside the Restaurant. As a Owner you should notice the Problem and do something about it. During the evening i got around 5 bites. -1 Point for my terrible Food: Antipasti: Frutti Miste (not Seafood but diffrent things just fried) : They didnt look freshly made and tastet not really good. I think they were frozen before. Main Course: Homemade Gnocci al Busara (Scampi): I took it because they wrote the Word “Homemade” and that it had no Lactose (Milk or Cream) inside. (I am Lactose intolerant). When the food arrived i smelled immediately that the scampi and the Sauce werent fresh (It smelled like bad Fish). The Sauce was full of colon of the shrimps, (i think they didnt removed it before they cooked the Sauce) it tastet relly sandy. -1 Point for the Organisation an the Misinformation. Because of my Lactose intolerance i asked the staff if there is any Milk in the Sauce, they said “yes” and it was a “Mistake” on the Menu. This is not acceptable. Later i asked for some Parmigiano, they said they have nothing left… How can a Restaurant with italian Food run out of Parmigiano? If you are Vegetarian or have any Allergies, ask the Staff for information. The Menu could be wrong. The Food we had looked nothing like the Pictures on Tripadvisor. The only thing i god from this Visit was a decent Gin Tonic, Mosqito Bites and Stomach pains.
