Des Tourbieres - Vendoire

We went on a weekday so it was not too busy. Great local 'rustic' menu with a good selection of varying foods available. The little French lady serving was wonderful. She spoke French but was happy with us attempting the language.The coypu came out onto the adjacent lake and provided entertainment in exchange for bread scraps provided by the restaurant. We will be back!

Visited in June (disappointed it wasn't open in April and had to wait). We go there a number of times a year and it is always excellent. The owners and staff very welcoming. Will be going again soon.

A magical place to walk around, so much wild life. We went on speck and didn't book a table for the restaurant, but the staff were so nice and found a table for us, will definately go again.

We went based on a recommendation from a local family.We were there as for the first sitting in the evening.The setting is lovely, however I really don't think it was suitable for children. Ours were 7 and 3. There was little choice of menu and we didn't fee very welcome.The menu selection for the adults was extensive. We order some "safe" options but as personal preference it was overlooked.However the main course was lovely.

Great food for the price, service a tad slow but this is France and a Sunday, pleasant surrounds and would visit again as we have now been doing so for 2 years. Make your own mind up !!??
