Cafe des Dunes - Vendays-Montalivet

Great place with magnificent views of the beach that offer an incredible sunset! Eating was good for all taste directions! and waiters were pretty nice. great moment in the family.

Good dinge first, this caffe is in front of the sea and has a great view. the service is bad, however, and the drinks are disgusting. euro for a small caffe cream and a hot chocolate. the coffee was cheap and bitter my wife. the hot chocolate was small and tasted like warm milk. there was so little chocolate in there. I've never been so disappointed by a simple and pleasant drink. I left mine too. the personal just went through the movements. we had asked for something to eat with the coffee and were asked to go away to bakery. really poor, go somewhere else.

The waitress was unfriendly and the food (we have cripples) was cold and not fresh. but they have a great view from caffe to the beach and sea.

There stopped using the Wi-Fi-Sat on the terrace with a glass of wine and enjoyed the view of the beach and the passersby. the waitress was nice. I would say that it is a beautiful place for sunsets.

We arrived for an evening meal at p.m. on a very hot evening with the sun directly shining into the glass surrounded dining area which was very hot! The enclosed restaurant area and open terrance were virtually empty with just a few people enjoying...a sundowner' drink. We sat for a short while in the enclosed dining area but when the waiter came to take our order we had moved just one metre onto a table on the terrace as it was so hot behind the glass. The young French waiter abruptly told us in English that he could not take our order or serve us a meal on the terrace and that we would have to move one table back into the enclosed area. We explained that it was too hot to enjoy a meal behind the glass with at least another hour or so of sunshine. He would not capitulate and let us leave his empty restaurant!
