The Anchor - Vélez-Málaga

Read the reviews and made the trek up the hills think we get a nice cold pint just to find the place closed for “change of the owner” save you the walk!

We visited most evenings, while on holiday in punta prima mainly for a drink, but we ate on a visit. eating was very good, the staff very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere very relaxed. a great place to visit

The anchor is now under new management and the Spanish owners do a good work. four of us went three times and eating was great and the staff was very helpful and friendly. the anker is clean and has been well renovated. go and try.

Second visit to the anker, eating is classic English kitchen. average quality but very cheap. I would recommend people who are not comfortable to taste the local cuisine. good view of the punta prima sea.

I have been to this bar on previous visits to Punta Prima, and always a good place for a drink, and watching football. Great bar service, and will not hesitate to return in the future. This bar is great for all ages/ families etc.
