Bidrage med feedbackSalad was simple with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and onion but it was so fresh and dressing was great. I heard from a employee that they prepare them everyday. Chicken Souvlaki made with chicken breast was cooked perfectly with right doneness, juicy and tender. Price is average. I become regular this restaurant!
Went in for lunch with a buddy.we each ordered the gyros meal. normally i would order the gyro sandwich (pita), but decided to try the meal instead.the salad was not overly bad - greens were fairly fresh, but instead of using the local hothouse tomatoes, these were the 'picked green in mexico cardboard version'. rice was fairly decent. i didn't eat the potatoes - didn't need the extra starch.the biggest disappointment was the gyro meat. not only the ground mixture common to the fast-food version of greek food - but dry. stuck in the steam table container, and dried almost to crisp. second biggest disappointment was the sauces. totally flavourless tzatziki sauce (there may or may not even have been a hint of garlic, and if there was any cucumber in it, it was very well hidden, and insipid hot sauce.i'm sorry - really don't like to complain about food - but this was really disappointing, knowing what's possible from real gyros.the only good thing about the whole thing was friendly service at the counter.if you want gyros that have any flavour - go elsewhere. look for a place that shaves the meat fresh off a vertical turning spit. one that has actual layers of meat (beef and lamb), and usually has a whole, peeled onion sitting on the very top.
This place is a great place for Greek food on the run. The steam table moves relatively quick so you can get food prepared as you like it, sit down and eat quickly. The prices are very good and you won't see table service or flaming cheeses here and no opa . But for great tasting food at a reasonable price this place is worth a stop.
I`m a salad lover. Enjoyed the chicken souvlaki and the green dip thingy with pita bread. not bad.
The salad was simple, consisting of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions, but it was incredibly fresh and the dressing was delicious. I was told by an employee that they prepare the salads fresh every day. The Chicken Souvlaki, made with chicken breast, was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of juiciness and tenderness. The price was average. I have now become a regular at this restaurant!
