Jack Astor's Bar & Grill - Vaughan

I planned my birthday here. At first I booked for 4 people and then called about 2 days before reservation to change to 6. When I got there, it was a table for 4. Staff are clearly not doing their jobs to update! I had friends that came from far, so it was irritating. Luckily the staff figured it out after telling us we need to be on a wait list, which was disappointing. They were able to push 2 tables together. Food was good! Although it was a little too loud as we couldn’t really hear each other talk.

The service was wonderful. From the host to Judy our server, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I was there celebrating my 65th with family and mentioned this in passing to Judy. Much to my surprise, Judy and your other wonderful servers came out singing with a brownie. It was a nice surprise and a lovely time.

Apparently the restaurant was closed for renovations, but there were no visible renovations that we noticed, except for the Christmas lights hanging from the ceiling.

They renovated this location and it is so nice and refreshing. I love the lights that they have! This location is definitely somewhere I would invite some friends for drinks. We had an awesome date night here and the food and drinks were really good. I would suggest ordering their lobster and **** dip 10/10 will be ordering again! Also, they added a mango mojito to the menu and hmmm we had like 3 or 4, we wish they had it in a pitcher! It was just that good!!! Our waitress Gaby was amazing!! She was very attentive, and energetic, and she made it her mission to make us feel comfortable and well taken care of!

Poutine was cold and soggy. Waitress brought another acceptable and hot poutine.
