Bidrage med feedbackWe went there on New Year's eve for supper. We took the "table d'hôte" menu that started with a cheese fondue (very good and almost as good as the one we ate at Le Léman restaurant downtown Montreal) as an entrée. It was followed by a Cesar salad. We chose the Terre & Mer fondue as the main course. It was served with shrimps, 1 lobster tail, pork, beef and lamb. On an other plate we had different kinds of sauces an very good fried potatoes. Then came the chocolate fondue for dessert with fresh fruits : pineapple chucks, banana slices, grapes, strawberries slices. For 41$/ person for all this ( Terre & Mer. Because there are other fondues that are less expensive if you choose let say; only chicken) I consider this a very good value. Every thing was hot and the service was very nice and very polite. The best part is that you can bring your bottle of wine, for me it is always a plus.I will certainly go back and bring other friends. The outside of the restaurant is not the best looking place, but the inside is fine. Once you start eating their good food, it becomes irrelevant.
Noticed this restaurant about 2 years ago when it opened up, and since my wife's favorite dinner is fondue, we gave it a try. Well, we've been back around a dozen times. They offer a large variety of cheese, broth, and desert fondues, but we always get the beef. You start off with a great home made caesar salad with delicious baguette sliced bread. The beef comes thinly sliced on a lettuce leaf, and 5 very tasty sauces, and (my favorite) these garlic baked potatoes which are to dye for. It doesn't look like a lot of food, but we always leave feeling happily stuffed. Would also recommend the cheese bread, mmmThe wine is reasonably priced as well. One reason that people return to a restaurant other than good food, is great service. Luc is the best waiter you could ask for. He's always smiling and friendly and will take good care of you. We always sit in his section.Yes, we will be back again and again. Try it, you'll love it!
Yummy place!!! I LOVE the food!! The service was great and it didn't take time. If you go make sure its early on weekends because then it gets full!
We dined at this restaurant on New Year's Eve and opted for the table d'hôte menu. The meal started with a delicious cheese fondue, which rivaled the one we had at Le Léman restaurant in downtown Montreal. This was followed by a Caesar salad and for the main course, we chose the Terre Mer-Fondue, which came with shrimp, lobster, pork, beef, and lamb. The dish was accompanied by a variety of sauces and perfectly roasted potatoes. For dessert, we enjoyed a chocolate fondue with fresh fruits including pineapple, bananas, grapes, and strawberries. The cost was reasonable at 41 dollars per person for such a satisfying meal. The service was friendly and attentive, and the option to bring our own wine was a plus. Despite the somewhat unimpressive exterior of the restaurant, the food more than made up for it. I will definitely be returning with friends in the future.
I first visited this restaurant about 2 years ago when it first opened. My wife's favorite dinner is fondue, so we decided to give it a try. We have since been back a dozen times. They have a great selection of cheese, broth, and dessert options, but we always end up getting the bark meat. We usually start with a delicious house-made Caesar salad with baguette slices. The bark meat is thinly sliced on a bed of salad leaves with 5 tasty sauces and my personal favorite, the garlic-baked carrots. Despite not looking like a large portion, we always leave feeling happily full. I would also recommend trying the cheese bread, it's delicious. The wine selection is also excellent. One of the reasons we keep coming back, aside from the great food, is the wonderful service. Luc is the best waiter you could ask for. He always has a smile on his face and takes great care of us. We always request to sit in his section. We will definitely be returning again and again. Give it a try, you'll love it!
