The Fat Chef Cafe - VASSE

Went to the Fat Chef cafe on Sunday, only ordered ice coffee's, which were the best. Very nice atmosphere. Set in a large garden setting, outdoor setting, on verandah and couple of tables inside. Small establishment, so much character. Even has a resident dog running around outside, loves to play ball. Food which I saw being order looked fantastic, large serving, and I didn't hear any complaints. Can't wait to go back to order lunch. Lovely little cottage and lovely surroundings.Would go back in a instance.

This place is located in the middle of a residential housing estate. I was invited there with a large group of friends. It's a BYO alcohol. Has a nice garden to gather. We went on their Friday pizza night. The pizza was decent. If you sit outside ask them for bug spray to keep the mozzies off you. The place is very cozy and suits large private gatherings.

Regularly enjoy lunch at the Fat Chef. Beats pub food hands down. Welcoming and friendly service. Can't keep it as our secret. Everyone should make the effort to find this wonderful Cafe. Its really not that hard to find. If you can't make lunch try pizza on Friday night yummm.

Had Mother's Day brekky at the FC this morning. Absolutely gorgeous gorgeous food. Partner had the full brekky, with proper crispy bacon (as he had requested) and the fried eggs with a little crispy around the edge of the whites; perfect he said! I had the vegetarian.... the field mushrooms mixed with spinach leaves were sumptuous. In the words of our Aussie 'Molly Meldrum' ... Do yourself a favour...!! We usually have lunch there ... and that's GREAT too. Brekky ... sublime home cooked!!!

Come in with a friend for coffee but both ended up having breakfast and it was very tasty. Coffee was great and serves was lovely. Such a cosy little place. A must visit
