Gui - Vantaa

Nice restaurant at the Hilton Hotel by the airport. While it may sound odd to go for dinner at the airport, this is perhaps one of the few good restaurants that I can recommend in Vantaa. Nice regional food highlighting the Finnish specialties with a touch of creativity. Without going wild either. And the menu boast classics as well. Not the cheapest one around but you will get value for your money. I have been a couple of times and still happy returning.

This is in the Hilton and is a pretty standard hotel restaurant. The food was good to very good, however the menu options were limited. Kind of pricey but Norwegian Airlines (who cancelled our flight) was paying, so we didn't care! Good service although they were shutting down for the night and we lost our server for quite a while. They are open late. Not sure I would make a special trip to go there but if you are at the airport or the Hilton, it is a fine choice.

What beautiful presentation of such delicious meals. Without exaggeration, the best Finnish meal I have ever had.

Great service! The restaurant is roomy and modern with an extensive a'la carte menu. You can also order from the grill, burgers and such fare.

Ugh, very bad if you consider price/quality. Slow, we waited forever to get our food, and judging by the faces of other clients, we were not the only ones. The food was average at best. I asked for a club sandwich and it was so spicy that it was difficult to eat. Chicken inside the sandwich was of bad quality and way overdone. A friend asked fish, and it was way overdone.
