Siena South Granville - Vancouver

Food was decent, seafood pasta tasted a bit, but other dishes were really good. The antipasti plater was quite delicious.

The wine selections are priced far too high for this type of restaurant Should consider having a few modestly priced bottles in the $32 to $40 range

The fried artichokes tasted like seafood. They must have been cooked in oil that was used to cook fish. Uncooked artichoke (hearts) out of a jar would have been better. The burrata was extremely bland. We had to ask for a condiment to spice it up. The garlic prawns were mediocre. Only the meatballs and marinated olives were of satisfactory flavour. At the least, the server was accommodating and pleasant to deal with.

The food is to die for! Such a great space. Classy but relaxed. A new favourite!

Myself and three friends have season tickets to 5 Arts Club productions. The last time we went to Fiore the service was outstanding as well as the food. We all had the shrimp spaghetti and each of us raved about it! On Wednesday/ 4 our reservation was for 6 PM. We arrived shortly after. After some difficulty finding our reservation we were seated and given drink menus. We told the gentleman we were going to the theater and he said they were used to that and were prepared. Our wine order was taken but we still didn't have menus and had to ask twice for them. Two of us had rigatoni and two had the spaghetti. Half an hour later when our food had not arrived, and we had been in the restaurant for almost an hour, we asked when it would be out. It arrived shortly after and we asked for the bill at the same time. As usual the food tasted delicious but the spaghetti had been broken in to small pieces and was difficult to eat. While we were paying the bill I inquired as to why and was told because it is fresh it breaks easily. I have had fresh pasta so often I can't count, and this is the first time I have seen it so broken. We were very rushed, got to our seats just as the lights were dimming. We will be returning and will make the reservation for 15 minutes earlier and hope the service improves.
