Bidrage med feedbackVisited the Sardine Can last night and had a wonderful experience. It’s a tiny place with 3 tables and some space at the bar. The service was excellent. We tried about half the menu and some specials, and I really loved about half of those dishes. They other half were pretty good, but not something I would order again. The spicy garlic prawns are excellent, and the oil is really amazing (great for bread dipping). The paella was lovely but beware it is quite fishy. I would recommend checking this place out.
This restaurant is super cute and the food is tasty! The size of the place is resembling a sardine can, long and skinny. We were fortunate to visit on a quiet weekday evening. The food is served on small plates, some of which are vintage, possibly from antique stores. The bread tower is adorable, and we were told they have to stack things up due to limited table space. The prawns, mushrooms in sherry sauce, paella, and green beans with romesco sauce were all delicious. Unfortunately, they do not have hot water for tea or coffee, so you will have to find that elsewhere.
There are plenty of vegetarian options available for my friend. The food is delicious and straightforward. It's best to go with a group so you can enjoy sharing tapas together.
Delicious food, incredible service, good wine. I've been here a few times now and always seem to be planning when I'll be back next. Undoubtedly one of my favourites in Van.
This is one of my top spots for grabbing drinks. It can get crowded, but the staff doesn't pressure you to vacate your seat.
