Papaya Hut - Vancouver

Ordered a bunch of dishes to share with friends on a take out order. Everything was piping hot, accurate. Food tasted good there was a decent amount for each dish. Took an extra 10 minutes longer than they had told us to pick...it up however food was super hot when we got it. If back in that area would try again!

We picked up two days ago. it was delicious. we have ordered this to beef. it was hot, crispy and tasted amazing. we had the green curry with huh, absolutelyley delish and the fried wide rice noodles with bark meat. the food was ready when they said it was. the amounts were generous. the next day we had enough for rest. it's just a delish. So they go to paypaya hat and enjoy it.

Very cozy thai restaurant. extremely affordable and beautiful service. recommend the Papaya salad and the satays. we had the spicy sour chicken soup for the first time. the cocosnus peanut sauce for the chickens' salads is remarkably delicious. we would like to return.

This was really disappointing. I ordered the papaya salad and Tom Yum soup with prawns and would strongly caution against both. The salad was laced with huge chunks of red onion which I have never ever seen in papaya salad—not even in Thailand. The onion...accounted for approximately 1/5 of the entire salad so there was a lot to pick out. Other strange ingredients included small pieces of lemon and slices of jalapeño—again, a far cry from anything you would expect. The soup was very salty and the tomato pieces were HUGE—like bigger than the prawn. On the plus side, there were more prawn than expected, but not enough to save this place from my “I’ll never eat here again” list.

We went around 930pm and there aren't a ton of smaller places still open. Reviews on Google looked good so we went for it. Pleasant surprise! Very small inside but very attentive and welcoming. Food came fairly fast and was hot. I got a combo...special and he got curry. We both really liked our food and took leftovers to go. Prices were reasonable especially for the food amounts. We would definitely go back!
