Lemongrass Thai Bistro - Vancouver

If you're in Vancouver, be sure to visit this stunning restaurant. Although it was early in the year and not very colorful, the ambiance was still lovely to explore. The rose gardens will be in full bloom during the summer months. I spent an hour wandering the grounds and still felt like I didn't see everything.

I ordered from this restaurant through UberEats and was disappointed to find that my order was missing prawns, bean sprouts, and cilantro. When I contacted the restaurant about the issue, they directed me to UberEats, who then informed me that they were unable to assist. This lack of customer service from the restaurant is unacceptable. I cannot recommend dining here.

The pad Thai was fine, but the glass noodle salad was not good, possibly due to being placed near the hot dishes. The menu promised "prawns" in the salad, but there was only one. I had this meal delivered and was not impressed; I've dined in at the restaurant before and it was better. I will not be ordering takeout from here again.

I have to say, this is hands down the best and most authentic Thai food I have ever had in North America. As someone from Australia who has lived in Thailand before, I get really excited when I come across a truly wonderful Thai restaurant. The dishes here are classic Thai favorites, prepared fresh and quickly, with a lot of care and passion. The prices are very affordable considering the top-notch quality and generous portion sizes. I especially recommend the lunch specials, which offer great value. The service is friendly and efficient, with complimentary iced water provided without having to ask, and your glass always kept full throughout your meal, just like in Thailand. I was in Vancouver for four days, and ended up coming back here for lunch every single day - I just couldn't resist! This place is truly a hidden gem for authentic Thai cuisine. I have dined at this restaurant for the past three days. The food is excellent and so is the service. It tastes just like authentic Thai cuisine.
