Joe's Cafe - Vancouver

Fascinated by previous TripAdvisor reports, decided to stop a quick lunch. interesting! this is not a millenial style chain restaurant with avocado toast, but a great example of the old commercial drive. beer for five dollars, billard tables in the back, old men. speak Portuguese (and sitting outside in the sun. had found a BIG sandwich for the place quite clean. so, by looking for a ground meal and the atmosphere of the kind as the running gear was earlier.

First my friend was not given the coffee he demanded, otherwise, more excellent coffee, but the lady was washing out as if she had not been washed for years. according to my male friend, the herren washroom of urin. I won't go back to joe. dirty, dirty, dirty, the owners should be ashamed.

Breakfast and lunch menu can be reached all opening times. noonish so for the sandwich menu. a gurke/Avacado (more gurke, less avocado) and a monte cristo (the rues that arrived ok). sandwiches come with fries or salat and koleslaw. coleslaw was good, frying machine. cut, salat all leaves except a small tomato pane. coffee pretty strong. service ok, unisex washroom was clean, outside terrace not very welcoming. none of the better options on the drive imo.

Basic commercial car coffee bar. we called them Poffi bars (I don't know why). hasn't changed much for decades. coffee, ice, paninis. a place to recover or meet.

I've been here several times and of course you will find the best Cappuccino here! Love that place
