Donair Spot - Vancouver

The donair spot is one of the best Lebanese restaurants I have been to that is hiding in plain sight on West Broadway. The Donair Spot has been here for a while, but I only came here because my friend was preaching their platter to me last week. They serve falafel, shawarma, and gyros here. It’s a perfect place to grab a quick bite. Donair Spot is located on West Broadway near Yukon Street, Vancouver.

First of all, the food was good. I got beef wrap and falafel platter. The falafel platter was really good, falafel made fresh on the spot. The wrap was fulfilling as well with fresh ingredient. However, I kind of felt uncomfortable when the server asked me many personal questions. I think he was trying to be friendly but for me it was a bit too much.

I love the Lebanese chicken wrap here! It's a bit messy but it's hefty and I always eat it really fast, so so delicious! The staff is super friendly, always the same young man with a big smile when I go there for lunch, which is often.

The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated, and the staff member working there was polite and friendly. He was skilled at wrapping the donairs, as mine stayed intact until the very last bite. I took my donair home to eat and was worried the pita might become soggy from the chicken and tzatziki, but it held up well. If you live in the Fairview area, I highly recommend this restaurant for a quick, easy, and relatively healthy meal option.

The food is excellent and you can't beat the price of $10 with tax included.
