Cactus Club Cafe First Canadian Place

COOL PLACE TO DRINK, EAT, AND BE MERRY.Love this place, amazing location, spectacular view, great staff, and tasty food. Not to mention, the building was incredibly designed and built by masters of the trades.Next trip to Vancouver, we will be stopping here again for sure 100%.Make sure you check out this place too.

I didn’t have the peach Bellini as per Drake’s recommendation but I did enjoy everything I had! Cactus club is always a good staple for crowd pleasing meals. There was a bit of a line at the front, but it moved quickly with our waitress seating us. Food was brought out in a timely manner with friendly staff. Great for hanging out with friends and family.

If I could give service more than 5 stars I'd give a million! Alex at the Coal Harbor location was the best server I've had in my short lifetime of going to restaurants. He provided Michelin star quality service and went above and beyond!To start off, Cactus Club from the beginning was so generous and kind to our party. The hostess understood we were waiting a while for our reservation and offered an appetizer on the house.Upon getting our table and meeting our server, he took very good care of us throughout the night. What I found amazing was my entree, steak, that I asked to be medium came well done and he immediately took to my concern and brought it back. The manager, I presume, brought a fresh plate back and apologized.As soon as I dug into this 2nd steak it was well done too, but I didn't want to bug the staff about it and waste food, but my server was so observant without me saying anything he knocked it off my bill and told me he saw that it was still well done. He made me and my friend's night amazing and we felt so taken care of. I've never felt so happy about a service and he has taught me to set a new level of standard when being dined at restaurant. I've already recommended so many of my friends and family to visit the Coal Harbor location and ask for him!

Went here for a sister date!! Perfected food—the Thai green curry is absolutely sublime; creamy sauce with a multitude of different sensations on the tongue. In addition, the ravioli is a must-get, the salty sweet squash and chewy outer pair like salt and pepper. The shrimps give it that flavor burst!!!The atmosphere is ok. There are some intricate designs/structures, but there isn’t much air inside which gives it the slightest suffocation vibe. Service was great.

We ordered truffle fries, ravioli prawns, hamburger, and salmon. Everything is great, but the portion is not enough for three women(they don’t eat much) and one teenager. I think I even finished all of the food own my own. The price is a bit high, and their plate should be wash more carefully, otherwise customers will easily lose their appetite. In short, good food, but pricey and small portions.
