Bidrage med feedbackLocation : Thunderbird boulevard, University of British Columbia, Vancouver <br/ <br/ Ambience : Small café but very welcoming servers <br/ Food : The hot chocolate here is too good. The veggie wrap served with jam and carrot cake is worth trying ! The veggie soup( basically lentil soup is also good but not amazing !<br/ <br/ Price is decent !<br/ <br/ *Best place to take afternoon break in UBC.
One-liner: Secret cafe at UBC with great options<br/ Highlight: Tuna Wrap <br/ Recommended for: A change of pace from the usual Tim Horton’s cafe at the Forestry building <br/ Would I go back? Yes. <br/ <br/ Check out my blog post for the full review!
In a nice place, surrounded by gardens. The food/coffee is overpriced for what it is. Coffee is decent, I had a nice almond croissant, but my husband found his cookie to be stodgy and underwhelming. Wasn't noisy, we were there Saturday am .
Popular spot for university people trying to get some work done but everything here s sub par, the uncomfortable seats, the bad coffee, the horrible and expensive food.
I shake my head when I look at the prices in an otherwise nice coffee place on campus ... I have gone to the BAW, oh, maybe times (maybe more) since it opened and I'm always amazed by how stinky my clothes are after...I leave ... I mean, come on guys, this is the century and your biz is not a backhole joint in a third world country ... please invest in a decent ventilation system!!! this is a complaint I hear from many friends when I suggest BAW for coffee noon-time. Other than that, all good there ... plus the daily soup is always interesting and good ;
