My Fish Stop - Van Nuys

So disappointed. Ordered from Uber eats. First the catfish my husband had suppose to be 2 filets. Was skinny strips of blackened outside. Hush puppies are dense hard balls tastelessLobster Mac and cheese idk what to call it. Smelled weird taste disgusting I spit out. Cole slaw was couple pieces lettuce no taste. Strange taste of lobster Mac literally scared meSpent over $50 for Black week and catfish one oh suppose to sea bassIt was blackened taste burnt and only couple strips I tried to eat by scraping off outside looking at other pics on here. I had been meaning to order from this place for a while. I was greeted by a very friendly and attentive young man at the counter. We ordered greens, Mac and cheese, French fries, fried catfish and shrimp plates. I was beyond disappointed. The fries were soggy. The greens had absolute no flavor and were tough. The Mac and cheese was definitely not fresh, AT ALL! Both the fish and shrimp were terrible. They were super salty with no other seasonings. Shrimp was overcooked and hard. The fish was a soft piece of not so fresh catfish. Well ,now I know.

First time at My Fish Stop. I ordered the Delta Catfish entree. Being a Southern lady, I was really disappointed. Not only were the portion sizes small, but the food was unimpressive. The greens were severely underseasoned with no flavor, the lobster mac and cheese were too peppery, and the catfish was a salt and pepper bomb. I was so hungry but i could only eat a few bites of each. I ended up throwing the dinner away. I wasted money. It's a one and done for me.

Came in around 7pm on a Wednesday. Place was empty, only the 2 workers were in there lounging around on their phones. Lobster mac n cheese was over seasoned with black pepper. The Lobster is immigration krab. Greens also had a ton of black pepper but tasted like the Mexican candy Lucas. We ordered 2 plates, the fish and shrimps were burnt, not seasoned, and cooked in OLD OIL. Not to mention the portion of the sides, they give you 1 teaspoon of each. Also, checked in here on the Yelp app and was not honored the 20% off. Save yourself the trouble and do not come here. You will 100% be disappointed. I overlooked the negative reviews because of the positives and ended up getting the worst outcome. This was a waste of $55. So disappointing and disgusting. What a waste.

Lobster Mac and cheese was all pepper, the fish was so old you can taste it, what a bad experience. They guy at the counter was cool though
