Louie Wingz Catfish fra Valparaiso Spisekort

A mostly disappointing experience after reading the good reviews online. Maybe it was just an off day for them. I know the food service industry can be rough. However, here is my review: 1). When we got there at around 11:30 a.m. almost all the tables were put up. No biggie We pushed a couple tables together. Just seemed kind of odd and uninviting. And they have a Michigan State Spartans flag displayed. Which is odd since I presume that a lot of their business come from Valparaiso students? Idk. Maybe not. 2). The didn’t have any blue cheese dressing despite it being on the menu. Ended up ordering the ranch. 3). The food was Luke warm even though we were the only patrons there. 4). They forgot our ranch and marinaras dressing. When we went up to ask for it, we had to show the receipt. Even though we’d just ordered it and WERE THE ONLY ONES THERE. 5). The catfish and chicken wings weremeh. Not much seasoning and certainly not served hot. 6). A couple positives: The fried shrimp were good and the hush puppies were VERY good. So there ya go. Maybe we just hit it on the wrong day? Otherwise, there is no way this is a 4.6/5 establishment. I really want to support this place because it’s a small local business. Maybe I’ll give it a second try to see if it can redeem itself. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

Very disappointed. better go to attack for fish they will cook it for them and huh. actually better go somewhere else. it would have been good. I didn't care we had to go back for a few missing things. but when we came home, I realized that the one who had ridden ever spiced, made it with my catfish, and that the salt was on my catfish, so that I could not eat the catfish. the salt was solid so I couldn't get it. the pommes were slandered because the whole salt was in my catfish. I didn't get my Hush puppy, and it should come with him. tastes terrible. both meals were terrible and dry as dessert.

Food is good, but the service SUCKS. The college students taking orders have no idea what's even on the menu, and the prices in the restaurant are higher than what they advertise online. They're also charging some ridiculous $1 per item COVID fee without telling their customers. Last time I was there I ordered 2x catfish and 1x chicken. After waiting patiently for 40min I asked what was going on. They told me it would be another 30min before I got my food. I asked for a refund and they told me we can't do refunds back to a credit card, and we don't have enough cash. When I insisted they had to collect $51.33 from the register and staff to give me my money back...Get your together and maybe you'll survive.
