The sides were good so was the wedge salad. Not too crazy about the cocktails but everything else was perfect. Had a wonderful time with my husband celebrating my birthday.
Update from my review 6 years ago. Came here for a birthday celebration. We were seated in a nice booth as requested. It was in the middle of the week, so it wasn't very busy. We started with soft shell crab...at $8 each...we ordered 3. They were fried tempura style, the breading was thick and heavy and tasted just ok. I do not recommend. I got the lobster tail served with hot drawn butter. The lobster was good, but I feel the top needed to be broiled a bit, it just looked too white and needed some garnish to make it more appealing. My boyfriend ordered the filet and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Brussel sprouts were yummy too. The sides of mashed potatoes and asparagus were barely warm enough. I notice that food is usually never hot enough when served and is an ongoing problem in my repeat visits here. The staff is friendly and made sure we had our water glasses filled and gave us plenty of their yummy bread. They brought out a complimentary birthday chocolate mousse cake. It was delicious. Gordon Ramsay will have a restaurant soon at this casino and I hope the competition will raise the bar at this place.
As a Harrah's regular, I've eaten at Fiore many times. Been here with friends, family, alone and company parties. The food and service are great! There's a sushi and oyster section in the left bar area as you enter. My favorite items on the menu are salmon and filet mignon. This is a very popular restaurant and is fully booked most nights. Make sure to get a reservation on OpenTable.
I'm updating my review after my recent visit. The food has much improved! I ate at the bar 3-times during my visit and I really enjoyed my experiences. I highly recommend the Surf and Turf Tempura. It's a little different but so tasty! It's a large portobello mushroom cut into 2- pieces and a really generous amount of lobster. It also included some micro greens. I liked it so much I had it 2-nights in a row. My last meal was a filet mignon. It was a good size and very tender. I had it with whipped potatoes and a side of creamy horseradish. I have to say the whipped potatoes were the best I've had in a longtime. Really creamy, beautiful texture. I learned that they have a new chef who is here in preparation for the new Hell's Kitchen. I must also mention Nathan, the bartender. Having dinner at the bar is so fun because of him. It obvious that a lot of regulars have dinner at the bar because they enjoy the vibe he helps create. Each night I had fun chatting with Nathan and meeting new people. I'm looking forward to my next visit!
I had a wonderful experience here with my husband. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and the staff made us feel special. We had the Bugatti Margarita which was very strong; the New York steak with garlic mashed potatoes the salmon casserole. They gave us a complimentary dessert. The steak was tender and so flavorful. The salmon was very fresh and also flavorful. We will definitely go back.
