Zest Asian Street Food - Valletta

The food tasted great and they had fresh ingredients, but the portions are really small (size against price ratio). Poke bowls and steamed rolls have a vegan option, and sushi has a vegetarian option. Definitely try, but be careful that you are not satisfied with a part/plate.

Ate here 2 days in a row, first time I ordered the Baos that, although good in the softness of the Bao it lacked real taste. I asked to be spicy, but it was pretty bland. For 6,50€ I would expect a larger Bao or at least 3 of them. 2. The staff was different and I ordered the Lachs Poke bowl, asked them to make it spicy. This time it was on point with aromas and freshness. I recommend trying this place when it's boring to eat pizza and pastas.

Google maps say they open till 10pm, I went there at 8pm on a Saturday night and they told me they were closing. I guess they sold all their fresh food for the day! I will hopefully go again and upgrade my star rating then!

One of the best places to eat in Is-Suq tal-Belt. Like Pinoy Street Food, the portion sizes are large and the food is cheap. For under 10 € you can buy an 8-piece sushi roll. They're not just sushi. Since Zest is a pan-Asian place, there is also a lot of variety in their menu. For example, they sell pad thai. Sushi tasted quite decent and the ingredients tasted fresh. They also served the food really fast, in our experience. Would I go back? Absolutely!

Excellent sushi. Friendly staff. Good value. I had the choice of cooking sushi, which I would definitely recommend.
