Tambara - Valle Gran Rey

Perfect location overlooking waves crashing on shore, the meal was excellent and food good value but kept waiting 25 minutes for the bill after three attempts to pay. This was a small restaurant and they weren't busy at the time and we felt this was being disrespectful. Staff need to be better trained. Spoilt an otherwise lovely evening.

Great night at this restaurant the views were amazing, frontline uninterrupted sea view. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Staff, waitress Nayara was delightful and very attentive. Would definitely go back on my next visit to La Gomera.

Not sure how this restaurant has 4.5 stars. Yes the view is spectacular but the food was not good. The white anchovies were ok but the octopus in the octopus salad tasted like it was from a jar and had a jelly feel to it. The spaghetti Vongale was completely tasteless. My partner had spaghetti marinara which was bland. Would not come back, even the sangria was lacking, it was our most expensive meal here but the worst. We have been to some wonderful restaurants here and it’s a shame that this was not one of them. The staff were very efficient and friendly so not their fault at all. Will not be back.

Muy buena comida. Grandes especias. El vino tinto de la casa es simplemente genial. Y luego el atardecer. ¡¡¡Avanza!!!
