Bidrage med feedbackOh dear, not a good experience. The owner is not very friendly and his cooking skills are basic at best. We had fish and pasta; the pasta was tasteless and the fish overcooked, and the restaurant is well overdue for a makeover. We wondered afterwards if the chef trained in a prison. It's only about 10 minutes' drive to VGR where there are many good restaurants, so there is really no reason to eat at Macondo.
We were the only guests at this relatively late hour and got all the views and potentially all the attention of the fantastic staff at Macondo. We had Roberto's rabbit in garlic sauce, super authentic mojo (in most places it's served from a jar, but here it's homemade and extra delicious) and tuna steaks. Everything tasted great. Since the place doesn't take bank cards (take note) we barely had enough cash for a proper meal. To our surprise, we were kindly offered a little credit which means we'll have a good excuse to return to Macando. P.S. the parking situation can be a bit tricky there, so drop your ride as soon as you see a spot, you'll be rewarded for a little extra walk with a fantastic view of the valley.
When we arrived in Valle Gran Rey, it was the first place we found...went there 3 times and were satisfied all the time. Location: best place to watch the Valle in the evening from the rooftop terrace (blankets are available if it is windy) Service: Very friendly and nice! Deutsch wird auch gesprochen, man kann sich über alles informieren lassen. Meals: A nice range of local cuisine, incredible pasta too! The high quality local ingredients make the rest! Drinking: Cava&Mango is a perfect start, the red Pata Negra delicious! Desserts: We still want the recipe of the Creme au Gofio! Thank you for the time with fantastic food and drinks! Ensalada con productos propios, dorado en tu punto y una berenjena con tomate. todo muy bueno y el super amable y atento propietario. lo malo es estacionamiento, tratar de salir del coche antes de llegar al restaurante. y caminar.
Inolvidable velada y deliciosa cena, comenzando desde el aperitivo: un espigón fantástico y una magnífica campana naranja, con naranjas frescas, realmente inusual en estos días. como aperitivos que hemos tomado: ensalada de wakame, melenzane allá parmigiana y camarones al vino de blanco y azafrán, muy bien. manzanas pequeñas porciones, pero ricas en mozzarella y albahaca, tal como los amamos en napoli. calidad y cantidad no siempre van de la mano. Como antes, tomamos espaguetis con pesto y carbonara con trufa. como segundos, conejo, costillas de cordero y 2 peces con ensalada y patatas. vino y helados, súper bueno y un café fantástico. pagamos 20 € por cabeza. El panorama, solo, es una 5 estrellas, paz y silencio, buen aire, invaluable. Lo recomiendo mucho, a todos los amigos italianos, en particular. para regresar absolutamente.
